Annotation

The aim of the investigation is to compare the bearing capacity of equal-sided brackets according to a number of strength criteria: yield criterion, linear buckling, criterion of reaching stresses of ultimate strength. The article deals with the prerequisites, which are forms of destruction of nox compounds, for conducting strength analysis. The geometric dimensions of the brackets (thickness and size of the cathet), as well as the type of brackets: with a free edge, with bent flange and with welded flange were varied. The parameters of the calculation model, the conditions for its fixation, the procedure for selecting the load necessary for the comparative analysis are described. The analysis was carried out using the Ansys Mechanical APDL 19.2 software. The paper presents the analysis of convergence, verifies the calculation scheme (a rectangular equilateral plate, the dimensions of which are similar to the sizes of the calculation models of the brackets), which is a comparison of the values obtained by the analytical and program method. The calculations did not take into account the effect of residual welding and bending stresses on strength and stability. From the results received, conclusions are drawn on the parameters of the stress-strain state of the brackets: the plastic limit state margin, the stability parameter and its dependence on the size of the model in question, and the necessity of flange/banding depending on the size of the side bracket.
