Annotation
The issues of vibration monitoring of marine rotary equipment with an adjustable electric
drive based on static frequency converters of the supply voltage are considered. An assessment of the negative impact of the switching power current converter on the vibration monitoring of the drive motor and on the assessment of its bearings condition by shock pulses is
given. Using the example of an electric crane drive, the possibility of increasing the efficiency
of a vibration monitoring and diagnostics of an adjustable electric drive by the transition to
order spectral analysis of low-frequency vibration and the envelope of its high-frequency
components is described. The proposed solutions can be implemented on the basis of the
VDM-2A vibration diagnostic controllers that are already produced. But the hardware of
these controllers must be refined.
Keywords: vibration, monitoring, diagnostics, shock pulses, adjustable electric drive, static voltage converter.
