Annotation
The article considers the possibility of using a portable embedded system for the purpose of
monitoring and controlling an object via a wireless communication channel. The process
of prototyping on the NI ELVIS II Prototyping board and writing program code for tests
involving the power of the processor built into the board is described. An algorithm for data
exchange implemented by pulse-width modulation, including the possibility of encryption,
is proposed. The developed prototype of a remote control system, including a transmitting
and receiving module, and its software, is demonstrated.
