Annotation

The article considers numerical criteria for determining the limit state of elements of thermal mechanical equipment, and shows the possibility of their use in strength calculations to obtain more accurate results compared to existing regulatory approaches. In the world practice of designing thermal mechanical equipment, numerical simulation of the state under static, dynamic and seismic external influences is widely used. The advantage of numerical simulation is the fundamental possibility of studying the behavior of the structure as a whole under various external influences without making unreasonable simplifications. The use of direct numerical simulation methods allows you to create digital mathematical models that describe the state of the equipment throughout the entire life cycle. Modern European regulations provide for the possibility of using direct numerical simulation in the development of thermal and mechanical equipment. This article focuses on a comparative analysis of modern invariant criteria for evaluating the limit state of a structure that do not contradict the requirements of the current regulatory documentation and are based on direct numerical modeling taking into account the elastic-plastic behavior of the material. Particular attention is paid to the comparison of the obtained results.
Keywords: thermal mechanical equipment, strength criteria, direct numerical simulation, limit state.
