Annotation

This work is devoted to the analysis of the possibilities that arise in the process of forced steady-state oscillations with a complex representation of the external load. For a plane problem, several special cases of applying loads that have only a real or only an imaginary part are considered; shows what the application of a complex load is equivalent to. A generalization has been made for a force that has projections onto three orthogonal axes. Representing complex forces not in the form of real and imaginary parts, but in the form of amplitudes and phases, allows us to obtain a slightly different view of the change in the distribution of forces (and, consequently, vibration parameters) along the axis of the model. The proposed approach makes it possible to consider a significantly wider area containing problems of forced steady-state oscillations of mechanical systems.
Keywords: forced steady oscillations, complex parameter method, complex number, amplitude, phase shift.
