Annotation

In the last two decades, rapid and radical changes have taken place in shipbuilding related to the improvement and application of rowing electric installations (GEU). The creation of high-power frequency converters, rotary steering columns, and "Azipod" rowing rigs have greatly improved the quality characteristics of the GEU. Currently, the GEU has found application on ships of almost all types. The electric power systems of modern vessels with electric propulsion are being built as unified electric power systems (UES) that provide power to both the SEU and numerous ship-wide consumers. The article considers methods of improving the quality of electricity in unified ship electric power systems, taking into account the influence of the primary power source.
