COMPUTATIONAL AND THEORETICAL STUDY OF THE DESIGN OF A STRAIGHT TUBE STEAM GENERATOR

Annotation

The paper considers a straight tube steam generator with a longitudinal flow around the tubes of the primary coolant for a reactor plant. In addition, it is possible to organize a tiered transverse flow around the tubes with the primary coolant in such a steam generator. The work is devoted to the description and computational-theoretical study of the design of a straight-tube steam generator in order to reduce it to the size of the steam generator used in the RITM-200 reactor. To achieve this goal, a mathematical model of a straight-tube steam generator has been developed. Based on this mathematical model, an algorithm and a computer program for thermal and hydraulic calculations of a straight-tube steam generator were developed. Calculations were made and the height of the active part of the steam generator was 1.3 meters. The temperature distribution of heat carriers along the height of the steam generator was obtained, as well as the temperature distribution of the tube walls along the height of the steam generator from the side of each circuit.
