DIDACTIC CONDITIONS FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF CHEMISTRY COURSE AIMED AT THE DEVELOPMENT OF NATURAL SCIENCE THINKING OF STUDENTS

Annotation

The article reveals the approaches used in teaching of the Chemistry course at SPbGMTU aimed at forming the natural science thinking of students and the ability to use the gained knowledge in professional activities. To achieve the result, content of the educational materials is built in logically integrated manner, which is based on the knowledge gained by students at the level of secondary education, inter-subject ties with other disciplines of the natural science cycle are uncovered. When teaching, we focus on the manifestation of chemical phenomena in nature and technology, use materials from the history of chemistry, widely apply chemical experiments, get students acquanted with the modern achievements of chemical science and technology. The article provides specific examples of didactic materials used by us in the training process, concluded on the effectiveness of their use.
